Day One of the TV season’s climactic May “sweeps” ratings period was much bigger than unusual Thursday.
We break down all of the numbers on our Dallas-Fort Worth TV page, including the prime-time matchup between the first-place Texas Rangers’ win at Minnesota and the first round of the NFL draft. Also spotlighted: dueling D-FW coverage of both the George W. Bush Presidential Center dedication and the West, TX memorial service (although WFAA8 mostly sat out the latter).
