Big Brother dominated Wednesday’s advertiser-prized 18-to-49-year-old ratings, again giving CBS one of its few legs up in this key demographic.

Airing from 7 to 8 p.m., BB drew 110,383 D-FW viewers in this realm. Nothing else came close, including NBC’s competing live America’s Got Talent results show. It had 44,153 viewers in the 18-to-49 motherlode and also was soundly beaten by Fox’s 7 p.m. episode of Masterchef (63,076).

BB and AGT tied for Wednesday’s top prime-time performance with total viewers, pulling in 195,272 apiece while Masterchef ran third in the 7 p.m. hour with 167,376.

NBC’s double-dip of The Carmichael Show won in both ratings measurements from 8 to 8:30 p.m., but yielded to Fox’s second half of Home Free from 8:30 to 9 p.m.

The 9 p.m. hour also had two winners, with Fox4’s local newscast running a decisive first in total viewers (188,292) while NBC’s Last Comic Standing had a comfy edge in the 18-to-49 demographic (69,384).

The Texas Rangers’ late night extra inning win at San Diego averaged 132,506 total viewers on Fox Sports Southwest, with 59,922 in the 18-to-49 age range. From 10:30 to 11:30 p.m., the Rangers beat all competing network late night entertainment programming, including a new episode of NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Here are Wednesday’s four-way local news derby results.

TEGNA8 had the most total viewers at 10 p.m., but NBC5 led with 25-to-54-year-olds (main advertiser target audience for news programming).

Fox4 notched two more 6 a.m. wins while TEGNA8’s early morning woes continued with a pair of fourth-place finishes.

TEGNA8 fared better in the early evening with the most total viewers at 5 p.m. and a first-place finish among 25-to-54-year-olds at 6 p.m.

The other golds went to CBS (No. 1 in total viewers at 6 p.m.) and Fox4 (first with 25-to-54-year-olds at 5 p.m.).
