Texas-made The Long Road Home gives National Geographic channel a major player

It will have been hard to miss a promotion or two or 20 for the National Geographic channel’s most ambitious scripted production to date.

The Long Road Home finally hits home screens on Tuesday, Nov. 7th with a two-hour start to be followed by six one-hour chapters on Tuesdays through Dec. 19th. Filmed entirely in Texas, the true story of one searing day in the Iraq war is adapted from the 2007 book by veteran ABC News correspondent Martha Raddatz. And our review is here.
