World survives The Rapture, plus another onslaught of stupid media stories

All it took was an old crackpot preacher putting up a bunch of billboards to make the alleged end of the world a prominently played story on media outlets big and small. Now there should be hell to pay. Plus, the weekend D-FW Nielsen ratings show another big audience for the Dallas Mavericks, but a continued downspin as well.
