A dog has her day while a sub-human is still at large

Inside Edition will be in North Texas Friday (April 13) to tape a segment on Angel, who's still recovering from wounds inflicted by a despot who wrapped wire around her muzzle.
The 9-pound female, who already has an adopter, was found by a Garland couple that took her to Operation Kindness after spotting her crossing the street in East Dallas on March 23. Inside Edition plans to tape at Operation Kindness and the home of Dianne and David Leslie, who came to her rescue.
Veterinarians estimate that Angel had been abused for about six weeks. A reward of $10,000 has been offered for information in the case, says Operation Kindness executive director Jonnie England. So far no one has come forward, but the no-kill shelter has received more than 200 adoption offers, England says.
There's no air date yet for the Inside Edition segment. The syndicated program airs weekdays at 4:30 p.m. in D-FW on CBS11.
