Frozen asset

Release us, oh icy grip. Spare us your
arctic blasts, wintery mixes and shivering TV
correspondents on overhead passes. But you did give
us one of D-FW's all-time cold weather comedies on
the night of Nov. 24, 1992. That's when former Belo8
correspondent Valeri Williams reported from blustery,
sub-freezing Hedley near Amarillo. Her lips were
gloriously numb, to the considerable amusement of
toastily warm anchors Chip Moody and Tracy Rowlett.
So return with us now to that chilling day of
