The traditional broadcast networks again fell short of cable’s Emmy winners Monday night. But it was a much closer score than last year, even though host NBC and Fox were shut out. CBS, PBS and ABC picked up the slack by matching or exceeding HBO’s totals. My commentary is on cnn.com, and you can find it right here.
