Friday Night Lights finally gets some Emmy love on a night when free TV scores big against cable

Sunday night's 63rd annual Primetime Emmy Awards put the made-in-Austin Friday Night Lights onstage for the first and last time while also providing a big booster shot to over-the-air broadcast TV.
